Having just  returned from a 8 day trek with Steve, we could not recommend a better tour leader. His knowledge of the area was outstanding , his personality for the job was of a very high standard. At all times we had complete confidence in his guidance through some challenging areas and the accommodation and meals provided were great. Would thoroughly recommend NZ 4×4 Treks.

What an adventure  8 days of the best high country that Otago has to offer. Up & down “ switch backs”, through” rivers” stopping on highest peaks around,ie Mt Pisa at over 6000 ft  to take in  the most the amazing views, of the snow capped mountains &  beautiful lakes. 
How lucky are we to be able to visit & drive through these amazing high country Stations. 
Steve was a “top leader” who is passionate about the “high country” 4×4 treks, has  great knowledge, very enthusiastic about everything he does & with a great sense of humour!!! Nothing like a small group ! good food, good wine, & lots of fun.
